Holographic Position Measurements of A Nanoparticle
Yoshio Hayasaki,

We demonstrated three-dimensional position measurements of a 60 nm gold nanoparticle held in optical tweezers in water. The position measurements were performed with an in-line, low-coherence digital holographic microscope with the twilight-field technique.

Sound Wave Reproduction by Digital Holography
Osamu Matoba,Hiroki Inokuchi,Yasuhiro Awatsuji,

Reproduction of sound wave is demonstrated by digital holography. By using a high-speed image sensor with 10,000 frames per second, the sound wave with maximum frequency of 5,000 Hz can be recorded and reproduced from time-series of phase data of numerically reconstructed optical wave.

Single-shot multiwavelength digital holography using a monochromatic image sensor and a single reference beam
Tatsuki Tahara,Yasuhiko Arai,

Single-shot multiwavelength digital holographic technique using a monochromatic image sensor and a single reference beam is presented. Object waves with multiple wavelengths are multiplexed in the space domain and are separately extracted in the spatial frequency domain. The spatial-frequency difference of interference fringes generated by the wavelengths enables the separation.
